Training in Paediatric Palliative Medicine 

GRID training  
The new revised Paediatric Palliative Medicine curriculum is available from August/September 2021. Since 2018, paediatric trainees have been using the RCPCH progress level generic syllabus alongside the RCPCH progress paediatric palliative care subspeciality syllabus. The new syllabus is in use from September 2021. 
GRID training is for those paediatric trainees who seek to specialise in paediatric palliative medicine 
It is currently a 2year RCPCH training program offered through competitive application and interview 
On successful completion of training the trainee can apply for Consultant in Paediatric Palliative Medicine posts 

SPIN training  The RCPCH SPIN training program has reopened in 2021 and there are multiple approved centres throughout the UK.  SPIN training is offered to post-CCT and paediatric trainees  The training program is usually 12months
