Paediatric Palliative Medicine Trainees group
The Paediatric Palliative Medicine trainees group is a national trainee-led network for UK trainees with an interest in paediatric palliative medicine. We recognise that paediatric palliative medicine is a relatively young sub-specialty and aim to support the development of a dynamic and interactive trainee network across the UK through the promotion of education, research opportunities and networking.
Membership is open to all UK trainees, both undergraduate and postgraduate. The training is aimed at senior registrars, but the APPM trainee reps are very happy to discuss online training and offer information or advice.
What we do
With the establishment of GRID and SPIN training in paediatric palliative medicine, the trainee group has established a 2 year rolling education program. This rolling program includes both virtual and face to face sessions delivered by leading experts within the field. The program complements the GRID and SPIN curriculum. If want to join our education program, please email us on trainee@appm.org.uk. We welcome anyone currently undertaking or considering to undertake a GRID or SPIN training program in paediatric palliative medicine.
