Joint statement on medical consultant workforce (2023) This statement, written by the chairs of the APPM and CSAC (RCPCH), is based on information shared regarding the consultant medical workforce across Great Britain and all of Ireland. Some of the information is extrapolated and assumptive. However it highlights the continual limited numbers of consultants providing medical and clinical leadership for children and young people with palliative care needs.
